Sangha-myeon in Gochang, on Korea's southwest coast, is where Cha Seung-won, Yoo Hae-jin, Son Ho-jun and Nam Joo-hyuk ran a seaside-village household and cooked their meals in Three Meals a Day. The self-sufficient table — built from sweet potatoes and potatoes dug from the field and whatever the tide brought in — came together in this village.
Sangha-myeon, the filming area, is a quiet fishing village beside Gusipo Beach. Gusipo is one of Gochang's signature beaches, with a broad 1.7 km sandflat and pine groves, great for tidal-flat experiences and sunsets.
The actual filming house is private property inside the village, so outside viewing is limited. It's best to build your route around Gusipo Beach, the Ramsar wetlands, Gochang Eupseong Fortress and Seonunsa Temple.
