Gageodo is Korea's southwesternmost island, more than four hours by ferry from Mokpo. Sheer coastal cliffs, a lighthouse and the boundless open sea seen from Doksilsan, the island's highest peak, make it renowned among anglers and off-the-beaten-path travelers.
