Gageodo in Sinan is where, early in 2 Days & 1 Night Season 1, the cast created legendary scenes with sand-lance penalty games and black-porgy fishing. The rugged-sea trip they described as 'not the kind of grit you see every day' came from here.
Gageodo is Korea's southwesternmost island, more than four hours by ferry from Mokpo. Sheer coastal cliffs, a lighthouse and the boundless open sea seen from Doksilsan, the island's highest peak, make it renowned among anglers and off-the-beaten-path travelers.
