Juknokwon in Damyang is where the cast of 2 Days & 1 Night Season 1 raced through the bamboo grove playing games. The same episode's opening was filmed on Damyang's famous metasequoia avenue, even leaving behind the joking nickname the 'Lee Seung-gi pond.'
Juknokwon is a broad bamboo-forest park in Hyanggyo-ri, Damyang-eup, where you can cool off walking trails filled with the scent of bamboo. The nearby metasequoia avenue, a tunnel of tall straight trees, shows a different face in every season.
Pair it with Gwanbangjerim, Soswaewon and the Damyang noodle street for a full overnight in Damyang.
